2018 All Church Retreat

We invite you to join us for a weekend of rest and community at the Singing Hills campsite of the HEB Foundation Camp on the Frio River—one of the most beautiful and sacred spots in all of Texas! The five-hour drive is well worth the trip. The cost is $45 for adults (free for 12th grade and under), and will increase to $55 on April 1. Last year’s retreat was well attended, so act quickly to reserve your spot. Please fill out a registration form for each member of your family.

Grieving in Community: A Bereavement Care Group

Are you grieving the death of a loved one? You are invited to join a gathering of people committed to sharing the complex road of grief in community. Whether your loss is recent or distant, all are welcome. 

This six-week group course is facilitated by Laurette Presley, LPC.

Race, Film & Reconciliation

Movies play a vital role in documenting history in the United States. For years, such films have sparked controversy and conversation.

Join Dr. Greg Garrett and guest panelists, including Sean Palmer, for this challenging and enlightening two-day event: Friday – Saturday, April 6 and 7, at the Hines Center in Downtown Houston. 

This two part event will feature three notable movies addressing race and reconciliation in America, interspersed with commentary by Dr. Garrett and guest panelists to be announced. Refreshments and lunch on Saturday are included in the price for this event.

Family Playdate for Children with Special Needs

The Ecclesia Children's Team will be hosting a Playdate Saturday, November 18th from 10am-12pm in the PreK Space for families with children who have special needs. We want this to be a time for us to come together and talk about how we can better serve all of our kids. As an Ecclesia community we are working on implementing special needs programming in our children’s ministry and want to invite you to be a part of the conversation.

Know Your Number

Join us for the Enneagram Know Your Number conference with Joey Schewee. Know Your Number is a foundational course and is the first step in working with the Enneagram. Each personality type is reviewed in detail, including an evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the Types, and the likely interpersonal challenges that may be involved in an unhealthy expression of the Type.  This workshop is intended for those who want to discover their Enneagram number or are still unsure about their Enneagram number.

Joey Schewee has been a student of the Enneagram for more than twenty years. As an Enneagram mentor, she completed an intensive three-year apprenticeship with Suzanne in 2006

Cafe and Ecclesia are teaming up to host a one night pop-up dinner and dance party to raise money and supplies for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.  Join us for an extraordinary night of food, drinks, and dancing! Each guest will enjoy a multi-course dinner prepared by local chefs and specialty prepared cocktails by One Armed Scissor Bar.
